The Blame Tree

Controversial events as interactive decision trees. See what happened, what could have happened instead, and where the blame actually falls — node by node.

How it works: Every major event is a chain of decisions by multiple actors. At each fork, someone chose one path when other paths were available. We map the actual path, the alternatives, and score the cumulative harm at every node. The result: a transparent, arguable blame ledger where you can see exactly which decisions cost the most — and which ones could have prevented the outcome entirely.

The point isn't to tell you who's right. It's to give you a framework for thinking about blame that's more rigorous than "it's all their fault."
